The Santa Clara County Park Rangers’ Association is a nonprofit organization representing the sworn men and women of the Santa Clara County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Park Rangers provide a wide range of essential public safety and environmental services, including law enforcement, wildland firefighting, emergency medical services, search & rescue, natural and cultural resource interpretation, and natural resource management. Rangers also maintain trails and support park improvement projects to ensure the county’s parks remain safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all visitors.

Without Park Rangers, the safety, preservation, and accessibility of Santa Clara County’s parks would be significantly compromised. Rangers serve on the front lines protecting visitors, natural habitats, and cultural resources from crime, wildfire, emergencies, and environmental degradation.

Our mission is to safeguard the rights of our members, provide strong legal representation, and advocate for competitive wages, fair benefits, and positive working conditions.
